When: We will have 2 Amateur/Open Mic Nights per month. The event will be held on the 1st two Thursdays of each month. It is open to the public. This schedule may increase, decrease, or remain the same depending on demand.

Performer Eligibility: Each performer must be accompanied by 5 friends. That's a total of 6 people, including the performer. A performer will NOT be eligible to sign up for a time slot until all 6 people are accounted for, paid for, and in the building. We will not "hold" a spot while your friends are enroute (refer to "exception" paragraph for additional info on this topic).

Auditions: As of now, there will be no audition required to get stage time. If the demand warrants, then auditions may be required in the future to ensure the highest quality of comedy.

Time: The building will open at 8pm. Show will begin at 9pm.

How many performers: There will be approximately 10-12 time slots available. We may add a performer or 2 if demand exists and time permits. The first 10-12 performers to arrive with their 5 additional people will be allowed to sign up. This is a first-come first-serve event. No reservations accepted for performance times. Get there as close to 8pm as possible and have your friends with you! Once the 10-12 time slots are full , then sign ups are closed.

Exception: If at showtime (9:00 pm) all timeslots are not full, then we will begin signing up those performers that have less than 6 people in attendance. A waiting list will be created on a first come first serve basis. This list will be used to select additional performers. TO PERFORM, THE TOTAL ENTRY FEE OF $30 IS STILL DUE (6 people X $5.00 per person = $30 total) even if you have less than 6 people total in your group. Because of this, it financially benefits you to bring your friends. So bring 'em!

Cost: There is a $5 entry fee per person. This fee must be paid by everyone, including the performer. This is necessary because we must ensure the Club makes a bit of a profit so this event will continue. Building operation and staffing the event costs quite a bit of money.

Set times: All performers will have a maximum of 4 minutes on stage!! You can do less time, but you cannot do more. If a performer does more than 4 minutes, there will be one warning. If the performer violates this rule a second time, there will be a suspension of 8 weeks from stage time.

Professional performer: The night will be capped off with a headlining comedian. The headliner from the weekend's shows will perform a 20 minute set after the amateur performances.

Age limit: There is no age restrictions on performers or on the group that accompanies them.

Material: This is a Comedy based event! No poetry, singing, scripture etc. allowed.

Vulgarity: You may use the "F" word in moderation. Use your best judgment here. The use of the "F" word can be very effective if used correctly. If we see a show as being too crude and vulgar, then the performer will receive a warning. If a second performance is also seen as too crude and vulgar, then a 8 week suspension will occur. This applies to all things seen as crude and vulgar, not just the "F" word. All decisions regarding vulgarity are based on our judgment. Once again, use your head.

Food and Drink: The Restaurant will be open for the duration of the night as well as a full bar. If possible, plan on eating dinner with us and enjoying a cocktail or 2. Once again, we must generate as much revenue for the Club owner as possible so that he will continue to open up his stage for our use. I cannot stress that enough. It is a simple business decision: if he is not making a profit he will discontinue the night.

After Party: I have been told that everyone staying the duration of the show will receive a free pass to Arizona Pete's so we can congregate, chat, and try out new material on each other there. They have 25 cent draft there on Thursdays, so we'll get off cheap.
